Every year, the Katonah Elementary School 5th Grade class holds a car wash fundraiser, and KFD is always willing to get one of its trucks washed. This past Saturday, Engine 117 was chosen, as our usual candidate, Engine 115, was standing by for Ardsley Fire Department while they marched in the annual Westchester County Convention Parade. The KES students swarmed over Engine 117, giving it a good scrubbing. We were honored to be asked to participate again this year.
