A two-car accident caused delays at the busy intersection of Route 35 and I-684 South Saturday evening. The on-ramp to 684 South was temporarily blocked when two vehicles collided. Katonah FD was dispatched at about 5:30 that evening, with Rescue 17, Engine 115, and Cars 2211, 2212, and 2213 responding. Units arrived on scene, established a protective zone, and controlled traffic, while KBHVAC and Westchester EMS checked those involved. Fortunately, there were no injuries and both occupants declined medical attention. KFD was on scene for approximately 45 minutes.
