Katonah Fire Department was dispatched Saturday afternoon to an accident at the busy Route 22/Route 35 intersection. Car 2211 arrived on scene and reported three vehicles involved and all of the occupants out of the vehicles. One car was partially in the right of way of Route 35 East while the other two cars ended up on Route 22 South. Rescue 17 and Engine 115 arrived on scene to help control traffic and prevent right turns onto Route 22 South while the scene was handled. KBHVAC arrived on scene to treat those involved and transported one individual to Northern Westchester Hospital. Katonah units were on scene for about an hour.
