At approximately 1030 pm Thursday night, July 11, Katonah Fire Department was dispatched to a two car motor vehicle accident on Route 35 at the I-684 overpass. Cars 2212, 2213, along with Rescue 17, Engine 115, and Utility 8, responded. Car 2212 directed Utility 8 and Engine 115 to close the Route 35 overpass in both directions, while Rescue 17's crew went to work assisting EMS. KFD units remained on scene providing lighting and traffic control until released by Bedford PD. KFD was on scene for approximately 3 hours.
