Katonah FD's training tower continues to provide hands-on training opportunities for us and for our neighbors. On Monday, 12/15, Golden's Bridge FD, with Engine 140, participated in a hose line advance/Vent-Enter-Search drill with KFD. Members practiced advancing hose lines from ground floor to second floor, and used ground ladders to enter the tower and search for victims. Members also practiced climbing KFD's Ladder 39 to the third floor of the tower, and then negotiating their way through the smoke-filled interior down three flights to the ground floor.
