Wednesday afternoon, KFD’s Ladder 39 was called to assist Somers Fire Department at a house fire on Tannahill Court. Ladder 39 was initially asked to relocate to Somers fire headquarters on Primrose Street. However, while enroute, a second alarm was transmitted and Ladder 39 was redirected to the scene of the fire. Upon arrival, Ladder 39’s crew went to work with other mutual aid departments in helping to extinguish the fire. KFD units were on the scene until 8 pm.
