On Saturday night, Bedford Village FD was dispatched for a residential alarm on Pound Ridge Rd. While in route, an update came through reporting a smoke condition. The call was upgraded to a reported structure fire, which added Bedford Hills FD Tanker 5 and Tower Ladder 57 to the box. While in route, 2041 (Bedford's Chief) requested a 10-75 assignment. After investigation, there was heavy fire in the basement extending up the wall into the attic. 2041 requested 39 Truck to the scene before striking a 2nd alarm. Tanker 6 was on the second alarm assignment and responded as well. 39 took the front of the structure and extended its aerial. Katonah crews provided secondary searches of the first and second floor. After an hour of operating, the fire was under control. Car 2213 and Tanker 6 stood by at Bedford Village FD's HQ until 01:30 hours.
