At around 8:30 Sunday night, Katonah Fire Department's Ladder 39 and Tanker 6 were requested, mutual aid, to the scene of a working fire in the Golden's Bridge Fire District. All occupants of the home, and their pets, were able to safely exit prior to arrival of fire department resources. Tanker 6 was joined by several other mutual aid tankers, all of which provided a steady water supply for fire suppression. The crew from Ladder39 assisted with extinguishment. Katonah Fire Department personnel were operating at the scene well into the night. As always, KFD is happy to work with surrounding departments and remain confident we can count on those departments when we need mutual aid.
