Katonah Fire Department Monday night hosted a joint drill that brought together Katonah, Bedford Hills, and Bedford Village fire departments for invaluable joint training. Monday night, Bedford Hills FD's Rescue 10 and Katonah FD's Ladder 39 were brought out. Firefighters from all three fire departments spent several hours familiarizing themselves with the equipment and capabilities of both pieces of apparatus. As the three departments continue to build a closer working relationship, relying on each other for mutual aid, these joint training sessions will become more involved.
