Early Sunday morning, at approximately 1:40 a.m., Katonah Fire Department was dispatched to a reported attic fire at a townhouse in the Wildwood Condominium development on Wildwood Road. Engine 116, Ladder 39, Car 2211, Car 2212, and Car 2213 all responded. Bedford PD was reporting heavy smoke coming from the attic. Engine 116 arrived on scene and set up just past the affected unit. Personnel back laid five inch supply hose to the hydrant within the complex and stretched an inch and three-quarter line to the unit. Meanwhile, Ladder 39 arrived and extended its aerial to the roof. Crews made entry into the attic determining it was an electrical fire contained to the air handler. There were no injuries and units were back in service after being on scene for approximately an hour and a half.
