Monday evening at about 5:30 PM, Katonah Fire Department was dispatched mutual aid to Armonk for a working structure fire on Old Mount Kisco Road. Tanker 6 and Car 2211 responded. Upon arrival, Tanker 6's crew immediately joined the other mutual aid agencies in helping to extinguish the fire, while Tanker 6 staged with other tankers to provide additional water. Crews had to battle intense heat, as well as the fire itself. Fortunately, there were no injuries from the fire. Katonah units were finally released by about 8:15 PM and units were back in service by 9 PM.
