Katonah Fire Department was dispatched at about 1:15 PM Friday, September 4 to a reported motor vehicle accident with extrication, and a pedestrian struck. Rescue 17 responded and discovered one car in the center island on Bedford Road, and another car on the sidewalk. Fortunately, extrication was not needed. Rescue 17's crew established traffic control, and assisted EMS with those involved in the accident. Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps transported two individuals to area hospitals. KFD was on scene until about 1:45 PM.
