A late morning structure fire in Golden's Bridge resulted in numerous northern Westchester County fire and EMS agencies being dispatched. Katonah's Ladder 39, which is on automatic dispatch for any structure fire in the Golden's Bridge fire district, was first dispatched at around 11 AM for the fire, which occurred on Boulder Lane in the Wild Oaks Village Complex. Ladder 39 was on scene soon after, and its crew went to work, splitting up between inside the structure, and venting the roof to allow smoke and heat to clear. Approximately 10 minutes after Ladder 39 was dispatched, command at the fire scene requested Tanker 6, initially to stand by at Golden's Bridge Fire Department headquarters. Tanker 6 responded there and stood by for about 15 minutes, whereupon it was called to the scene to help provide water. While Tanker 6's crew assisted other agencies with extinguishing the fire, Tanker 6 provided water to various apparatus fighting the fire. Fortunately, none of the occupants of the structures involved were injured. Katonah units were on scene from approximately 11 AM to about 3:30 PM.
