About a year ago, hundreds of first responders gathered at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco to applaud and honor front line medical workers and support staff during an early evening shift change. On Thursday evening, March 11, 2021, first responders from numerous fire and EMS agencies in Northern Westchester County were again back at Northern Westchester Hospital, recognizing the hospital's staffers for their heroic efforts in dealing with COVID over the past year. As we were a year ago, Katonah Fire Department was proud to once again be on hand with our fellow first responders to commemorate this bittersweet occasion, and to give recognition to those who deserve it the most.
