On Sunday, December 7, less than 15 minutes after responding to a three-car accident in downtown Katonah, KFD was dispatched mutual aid to Armonk for a house fire at 35 Nichols Avenue. Katonah's Tanker 6 and cars 2212 and 2213 responded. Upon arriving at the scene, Katonah's crew took an inch-and-three-quarter hose line into the rear of the house and assisted with extinguishing hot spots on the second floor. Katonah was on scene for about an hour and a half.
