Saturday afternoon at about 1 PM, Katonah Fire Department was dispatched to a two-car accident on I-684 SB. Rescue 17, Engine 115 and cars 2212 and 2213 responded. Upon arrival, the right and center lanes of the interstate were closed down while vehicle occupants were tended to. KFD crews were on scene for about an hour and a half, assisting EMS and establishing traffic control and scene safety. Units were back in service by about 2:30 PM.
