Around 6:30 PM Friday, Katonah Fire Department was dispatched to a chimney fire at a residence on Harris Road. Engine 116, Ladder 39, Tanker 6 and Cars 2211 and 2213 responded. The occupants had a fire in their fireplace and reported a roaring sound coming from the chimney with debris coming out of the top. Interior crews checked the fireplace and chimney, along with the walls near it for any sign of fire spread. Additionally, Ladder 39 placed its aerial on the roof to give crews a better view of the chimney from the outside. Fortunately, the fire had not spread beyond the chimney itself. A chimney flare was used to suppress any burning in the chimney, the house was checked again, and Katonah units were back in service by about 7:30 PM,
