The sidewalks of Katonah thronged with people eager for the return of KFD's annual parade, which kicks off our annul carnival. Both events took a two-year hiatus due to COVID, but were back in force this year. Joining KFD were 20 other fire departments, with their musical ensembles. Parade judges lined the route, assessing the various agencies on uniform appearance, apparatus cleanliness, marching, and a host of other criteria. Trophies were awarded to the top-scoring departments. The top award winners are listed below:
