Within 15 hours of the Buxton Road fire, Bedford Hills Car 2033 (Chief Dennett) transmitted a 10-75 for a house fire on Guard Hill Road. Upon arrival, Car 2033 found light smoking showing from the residence. After completing a 360, he transmitted the working fire assignment, bringing in 4 tankers, 2 engines, and a FAS-Team. Cars 2212, 2213, and Tanker 6 immediately responded moments after dispatch. Car 2212 (Chief Pappas) and Car 2213 (Chief Corsino) monitored the fire conditions from the outside of the structure, as Tanker 6's crew went into the fire floor to find the origin of the fire and pull apart ceilings and walls. Once the fire was under control, Tanker 6's crew overhauled and returned in service. Units operated for about two and a half hours.
