Next week is Fire Prevention Week. During the week of October 10, we'll be visiting area daycare centers and Katonah Elementary School to educate kids on Fire Safety and Fire Prevention. Go to the "Events" tab on the left hand side of our web page and click on "Fire Prevention Week" to find out exact times and dates for our visits.

And Fire Prevention Week will culminate with our annual Open House on Saturday, October 15, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Come down to KFD for fire truck rides, educational giveaways, try on some turnout gear and test out some tools. Don’t forget to stay for our live fire demonstration towards the end of the day. Our friends from the New York State Police will be here with their vehicle rollover simulator. Lastly, come talk to us about joining, we are always looking for new members to help our great community.
