By Ex Chief Dean W. Pappas
April 8, 2023

KFD Volunteers were dispatched at about 1 PM Saturday afternoon to a two car MVA at the intersection of Jay Street and Route 22. Cars 2211, 2212, 2213, along with Rescue 17, Engine 115 and Utility 8 responded. Arriving units established a safe zone and traffic control as many cars were traveling Jay Street going into, and leaving the downtown Katonah business center. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries despite the fact that both vehicles' airbags deployed. The scene was cleared a little after 1:30 PM.

Units: Car 2211, Car 2212, Car 2213, Rescue 17, Engine 115, Utility 8, Bedford PD, WEMS, Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps
