Early Saturday morning, Katonah Volunteers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on I-684 South at Exit 6. Rescue 17, Utility 8 and Car 2213 all responded. A car had spun out at the base of the Exit 6 ramp. Units established a safe zone and assisted EMS with assessing and treating the three occupants inside the vehicle. Fortunately, there appeared to be only minor injuries. Units were on scene for a little over an hour while the occupants were treated and the vehicle was removed from the scene. The exit ramp was reopened by about 7:20 AM.
