Katonah Fire Department, in partnership with Katonah American Legion Post 1575, commemorated Memorial Day on May 29 with a traditional parade starting at KFD Headquarters and culminating in a memorial ceremony at Lawrence Circle. Participating organizations included Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops, Veterans, and the TZ Bridgemen providing musical accompaniment. Following the memorial at Lawrence Circle, the procession marched back to headquarters, where a smaller memorial was conducted at the KFD fire bell. Afterwards, ice cream was given out to participants and attendees.
