| KFD Volunteers, along with Westchester EMS and Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps, were dispatched around noon Thursday, December 29 for a motor vehicle accident with a vehicle rollover on I-684 NB near the Route 35 overpass. Fortunately the occupant was able to self extricate. KFD's Car 2213 and Rescue 17 responded and established a safe zone so that KBHVAC and WEMS personnel could examine the occupant. The accident caused a backup where the interstate goes from three lanes to two lanes. Units were on scene for about an hour and a half, being released around 1:30 PM. |
