Jr. Corps Practices Masked Confidence

April 27, 2015

Monday night, members of the Junior Corps practiced wearing air packs and got comfortable maneuvering through an obstacle course. This is one of the most important and unique skills a firefighter must possess. Members practiced following a hose line, breaching a wall, traversing floor joists, crawling through a tunnel and more all while their faces were completely covered to simulate a smokey environment. We do drills on the first and third Monday of every month, so feel free to stop by if you're interested in joining to get a better look at what we do!
