KFD volunteers were kept busy Friday afternoon and evening from the effects of the remnants of Hurricane Debby. High winds resulted in numerous downed power lines and trees throughout the Katonah Fire District that volunteers responded to through very early Saturday morning. We also responded to an incident at a residence where a sump pump battery was malfunctioning. Fortunately, none of the incidents resulted in injuries.
