Tuesday afternoon at around 3:15 PM, Katonah Fire Department volunteers were dispatched to assist Golden's Bridge Fire Department at a fully involved car fire that also spread and became a brush fire next to the Exit 6A off-ramp from I-684 North. Tanker 6 responded and, upon arriving on scene, set up to feed Golden's Bridge Tanker 1 with water. Meanwhile, Tanker 6's crew deployed to assist with extinguishing the fire. Tanker 6 was released by about 4:15 PM.
