| This past Friday, the Katonah Fire Department held its annual inspection dinner at La Chateau. Members and apparatus were inspected in-house, joined by neighboring fire departments, Bedford Police Department, local officials, fire commissioners, and battalion chiefs. Following the inspection, everyone gathered at the restaurant to enjoy food, drinks, and good company.
During the inspection, the chiefs took time to recognize the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our members. A special recognition was also given to Ex-Chief Matthew Whalen for his many years of service, leadership, and continued commitment to the department and the community.
