Early Tuesday afternoon, a flatbed truck driver transporting a burned vehicle from another part of the county stopped his truck in front of Katonah Fire Department headquarters when he noticed that the car was smoking again. KFD volunteers quickly responded, driving Engine 116 out to the bottom of the firehouse apron and doused the vehicle using a preconnected inch and three quarter line. Once the vehicle was thoroughly wet down, the flatbed driver continued on his way.
