Katonah Fire Department, along with Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps & Westchester EMS paramedics, responded late Tuesday afternoon to a three-car MVA in the left lane of I-684 North at Exit 6. Cars 2211 and 2213, along with Rescue 17 responded, as did KBHVAC ambulances 65B-1 and 65B-2. Occupants from all three vehicles suffered what appeared to be minor injuries and were transported by KBHVAC. Fire personnel checked the vehicles, established a safe zone, and directed traffic until the ambulances left. Upon removal of the three cars by tow trucks, all lanes were reopened. Units were operating for about an hour and a half.
