Sub-zero weather didn't discourage volunteers from Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Katonah Fire Department from participating in a joint vehicle extrication drill. The two agencies work hand-in-hand, responding to numerous motor vehicle accidents on the busy I-685, Route 35, and Route 22 corridors. Day in and day out, the two agencies respond quickly and effectively to these accidents, establishing scene safety and ensuring that those involved are cared for. These training opportunities are priceless, allowing members from both organizations to hone their skills and enhance communication and collaboration. KFD is grateful to have such dedicated EMS professionals to work with.
