Saturday, June 18, KFD and Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps stood shoulder to shoulder in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, and on the apron of KFD's headquarters, to remember and honor Bernard Roberts Jr. He was an Ex-1st Assistant Chief of KFD and a founding member of KBHVAC. We will continue to honor Bernie by doing what we do best--help our community. Bernie embodied what it means to be a volunteer, dedicating his life to serving our community and beyond. After the funeral, family and friends walked across the street to KFD to share more great memories of Bernie.
