Katonah's Tanker 6 was called out just before 3:30 AM Thursday to assist Peekskill Fire Department at an apartment complex fire on Woods End Circle. Tanker 6, along with Car 2213, made it to the scene in just under a half hour. Initially, Tanker 6 dumped water to a portable pond as part of a tanker shuttle. Soon after, however Tanker 6 became the main source pumper for a Mohegan Lake aerial truck that was directly fighting the apartment complex fire. Tankers from Pocantico Hills, Millwood, Garrison, and other agencies provided water to Tanker 6 as it fed the aerial. KFD volunteers were on scene for over 3 hours before being released by Peekskill FD command.
