The village of Mount Kisco, Westchester County Police, and Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department held their annual Touch A Truck & Cops and Cones event Thursday, August 31, featuring a huge variety of police, fire and EMS apparatus, including a Westchester County Police helicopter. KFD's Engine 117, a 2016 four wheel drive pumper, and our 1928 American LaFrance antique, "Mary Anne" participated in the event. A large crowd came out to view the apparatus up close, climb in, and pose for photos. As the sun set, the entire Mount Kisco train station parking lot became a kaleidoscope of colors as the various participating fire, police an EMS agencies started up their apparatus and turned on their emergency lights. It was a perfect way to spend a gorgeous Thursday afternoon and evening.
