KES Second Grade students spent the morning at KFD Friday, learning about community, volunteering, and what we do when we respond to a fire alarm. Various volunteer firefighters took turns explaining these details to the kids. The kids were also treated to an equipment demonstration given by Lieutenant Josh Corsino, and they were able to take a walk through Rescue 17 before leaving. The event was organized by Captain Laurie DeRosa.
