At approximately 5:42 a.m. Ladder 39 was dispatched to a structure fire at Northwind Kennel in Bedford Village. Upon arrival, our crews immediately began coordinated operations, including roof ventilation, fire suppression, and assisting with the rescue of dogs trapped inside the structure. By about 6:30 a.m., a second alarm was transmitted and Tanker 6 was requested to the scene. Crews operated on scene for approximately three hours before returning to service.
